February 23 - I'm excited to announce that I've completed the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge! I would like to extend my thanks to all those who joined me in this challenge and submitted ideas and even photos to consider. As promised, at the end of the challenge, I used Google's random generator to draw the name of one person who would win the painting they suggested. Congratulations Mary M. January 23 - So many of you have reacted on my recent post about Senator Bernie Sanders (meme) stopping by my studio to check out the painting in progress. The Vermont senator wearing gloves made from a recycled sweater said that he is thrilled to use his Internet stardom meme on sweatshirts that are being sold to raise money for Meals on Wheels Vermont.
In response to Sander's initiative to donate to Meals On Wheels, I've decided to challenge myself to paint 30 paintings in 30 days. Crazy, I know. I will also be donating 20% of the sales to Meals on Wheels.
All paintings will be signed, with a Certificate of Authenticity, framed and ready to hang. Cost includes shipping and handling. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
