A Breath of Fresh Air

The Cascades in Forest Park were designed in 1937 to mimic the World's Fair Cascades that once flowed down Art Hill. This site, which serves as the origin for the Park's entire river system, is a favorite gathering place for families and friends.

Shortly after I took this photo, the waterfall was turned off for several months for a complete restoration. The water at Flegal Falls, near the Norman K. Probstein Golf Course, is flowing again and the shrubs and flowers are in full bloom. It's a beautiful spot to relax on one of the benches, breath in the fresh air while listening to the birds chirp and gaze at the crystal clear water rushing over the rocks.

While many of us are staying at home, looking out our windows and wondering what the future may bring, nature is giving us opportunities to rejuvenate and uplift our thoughts.

Putting art inspired by nature on your walls can dramatically enhance your environment. Imagine how the bright greens of spring growth and early morning sunshine can lend a sense of peacefulness and hope for a better life. Imagine taking in a deep breath of fresh air - virtually - and feeling the calmness and renewed energy.

If a mom in your life could use a little of any of that, I’m happy to offer you special pricing through April 28, 2020 to help you make this Mother’s Day a meaningful one.
